Warehouse Specialist
Responsible for executing all warehouse functions in a consistent manner in compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure the daily integrity of the inventory/housekeeping of the warehouse operation.
- Responsible for calculating accurate tallies and documentation during the loading and unloading, and warehousing process.
- Responsible for quality/customer satisfaction in regards to product integrity during the loading and unloading, and warehousing process.
- Operates radio frequency equipment to conduct inventory control movements, barcode scanning, and physical inventories.
- Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
- Responsible for observing safety rules and performing in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Responsible for inspecting all equipment used on a daily basis and reports defects to Management.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facilities.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all designated warehouse equipment.
- Palletizes and stores the product in accordance to warehouse policies and procedures.
- Supports production lines with material requests.
- Assists Inventory Specialist with conducting inventories when necessary.
- Provides accurate and legible paperwork to maintain an accurate database.
- Insures the integrity and accuracy of all inventories on a daily basis.
- Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation.
- Assists with repack and labeling operations when necessary.
- Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Additional Success Skills Needed:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of the product codes.
- Ability to operate fork trucks in a safely and efficiently.
- Fundamental knowledge of general warehouse procedures and product codes.
- Fundamental computer knowledge and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to work: in wet, hot, and cold environments inside and outside the facility; in ear, eye, and foot protection areas; under pressure of deadlines and manage moderate levels of stress.
- Ability to: lift up to 25 pounds, walk long distances; climb steps; bend, stoop, stretch; stand for long periods of time;type and read small print on screen and blueprints/schematics.
- Ability to travel as needed to other sites via commercial airline or vehicle.
